How do I Return or Exchange an item?

Returns

Our standard policy is to accept most returns within 30 days from the date of delivery. However, we understand that many customers like to order holiday gifts early, and so we have extended our return period for the holidays.

Items ordered between November 1, 2009 and December 31, 2009 may be returned until January 31, 2010 for a full refund or exchange, subject to our other return restrictions.  Orders placed after December 31, 2009 carry our standard 30 day return.

OUR REGULAR RETURN and EXCHANGE POLICIES

Standard 30 Day Return Policy: 

All of our gold and silver rings carry a 30 day return.  Platinum rings must be returned within 15 days.  If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase return it to us and we will be glad to refund your money, sorry shipping is non-refundable.  Please read ALL of the details below PRIOR to ordering and/or returning an item.


Simply return the ring to us, postage paid. Make sure the ring is unworn and undamaged.

Include a copy of your email confirmation or packing slip with the ring(s) and the following form: CLICK HERE for RETURN ORDER FORM  Failure to include this will result in a delay of the processing of your exchange or refund.

We will gladly exchange the ring or refund your money based on your request.

EXCHANGES: Gold and silver items must be returned within 30 days of receipt.  Platinum must be returned within 15 days of receipt.

  • For an exchange shipped within the US, please include $8.50 for exchanges valued over $200.00, or $5.00 for orders valued under $200.00. 
  • Send a check or Money Order made out to UCTUK
  • We are happy to issue one size exchange per order, per ring and we only ask for you to cover the shipping costs. 
  • 2nd and subsequent size exchanges will be charged a 25% restocking fee in addition to the shipping fees. 
  • Rings are exchanged for a new size they are non-returnable/non-refundable. 
  • Please note for exchanges we may not have the puzzle ring/rolling ring you need in stock and will have it made for you. This process can take up to 3 weeks.
  • Standard postage charges apply for orders shipped outside of the US ($5 - $69).  Please note if you are returning an item from outside of the US there will be an additional charge of $28 if you return via UPS.  This is the brokerage fee UPS charges us to accept the package back into the US.  We recommend FedEx or Postal Air Services Insured.  We cannot be held responsible for lost items please do insure.  We cannot take foreign checks or money orders so we will issue the shipping fee charges to the original credit card used to purchase the ring. 
  • Item must be in the same condition as it was shipped to you with its original ring box. All our rings are brand new and never worn. If the ring is damaged, worn, scratched, bent or otherwise not in the condition as it was sent to you it will not be accepted. 
  •  Puzzle Rings must be together/solved.  There are added costs for putting together and then polishing rings that are returned when unsolved.  We are careful to send every ring together with a wire or tie on the bottom of the ring so it does not accidentally fall apart.  It is an intentional decision on the receiver's part to take this wire off thus making it their responsibility to return the ring to its original condition.  Unless the semi-permanent band is purchased in which case the band must be on the ring when returned to receive a full refund.
CUSTOM/SPECIAL ORDERS:

·         We cannot accept merchandise exchange on custom/special orders (special finishes do NOT make a ring custom and YES, may be returned). Custom/special orders are unique items that are not typically found on our site, and a customer always consults with us regarding such an order and knows beforehand if his or her order is a custom order.

·         We strongly encourage you to have your finger sized at a local jeweler as many of our designs cannot be resized.  If you are unable to go to a jeweler please contact us and request a Ring Finger Gauge.

REFUNDS:

  • Gold and Silver items must be returned within 30 days of receipt.  Platinum items must be returned within 15 Days.

  • For refunds, we will process your refund upon receipt and inspection of the returned ring - please allow 7 to 10 days to see credit issued to your credit card.

  • Please note we can only credit the credit card used when the purchase was made.  No checks or cash will be sent for the return of an item for refund.

  • Item must be in the same condition as it was shipped to you with its original ring box. All our rings are brand new and never worn. If the ring is damaged, worn, scratched, bent or otherwise not in the condition as it was sent to you it will not be accepted.

  • We cannot accept merchandise that has been altered or damaged in any way. This includes repairs or sizing done by other jewelers.
  • Engraved bands are non-returnable.

Custom/special orders are unique items that are not typically found on our site, and a customer always consults with us regarding such an order and knows beforehand if his or her order is a custom order.

Note on free shipping offer & refunds/exchanges:
In the event an item is returned for a refund, a credit will be issued minus the shipping charges ($8.50 for rings valued over $200 and $5.00 for rings valued under $200).
